What's going on...
Joining together to assist Haiti (January 30th)
Kids Against Hunger is having a packaging event on Saturday, January 30th, and BBIC is inviting members to join in service. They will have three 2 hour shifts (9-11, 11-1, and 1-3). Due to the urgency and needs they are asking for donations to keep the program going. Kids under 18 need to bring a $5 donation, Adults $10.
They also need volunteers to bring "canned protein" such as peanut butter, tuna, salmon, ham, and chicken. They have re-organized the production line to handle 35 volunteers per shift. Children’s Home Society- Volunteer
Registration for Upcoming Outreaches

BBIC is planning to volunteer at various times throughout the year at the Children's Home Society. If you are interested in volunteering at any time during the year, please join us as we go together to enroll as a group. Requirements to volunteer include bringing the attached 3 forms, a TB test, background check and finger printing (which will all be performed at their office). These requirements are to ensure the safety of the precious children at this facility. This takes a little more upfront effort than many other outreaches, but imagine the impact you will be making in a child's life! It will be well worth the effort!

In 2009 we provided Christmas gifts to children in Christ's Name.
