We have seen that being a Christian is not just about attending a church or a bible study. It's not about being Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, etc. Becoming a Christian is asking Jesus into your heart. You may not be a member of a church presently, and you may not even be seeking God right now, but God is seeking you... Or you may have been a member of a church for a long time, but only going through the motions. Below is a prayer that you can say that can help bring you into a saving faith. These are not merely words or some magical spell. Think about these words, and if you say them, believing in your heart that they are true, and are willing to follow them up in your life, you can become a Christian right now.

"Lord, I have sinned against you.
I admit my guilt.
I believe, with all my heart, that Jesus died for my sins and that He rose from the dead.
Right now I surrender my life totally and completely to Him as Lord.
I do trust in Jesus to forgive my sins and to give me eternal life. 
Thank you for making me a Christian.
Amen."
